The research examines how ML enhances the efficiency and coordination of agents in complex environments. It studies environment representation, path planning, and execution of solutions. The goal is to understand and highlight how ML can transform multi-agent navigation in large-scale automated systems like warehouses.
  2. Application of Artificial Potential Field Method in Three-Dimensional Path Planning for UAV Considering 5G Communication
    This project improves how drones fly while staying connected to computers using 5G networks. It plans drone paths in three dimensions by considering areas with the best 5G signal. The method also helps drones avoid getting stuck in tricky spots. Tests show it increases signal strength along the path, even if the route becomes slightly longer.
  3. Deep Reinforcement Learning Assisted UAV Path Planning Relying on Cumulative Reward Mode and Region Segmentation
    This project focuses on making drones navigate on their own without human control. It uses a type of artificial intelligence called deep reinforcement learning to plan safe and efficient paths. The method splits the area into regions and gives rewards based on distance and obstacles to guide learning. Tests show it makes drones learn faster and avoid getting stuck in poor paths.
  4. A Smart Clothing Approach for Augmenting Mobility of Visually Impaired People
    This project develops a smart wearable jacket to help visually impaired people move safely and easily. It uses sensors, a camera, and GPS to detect obstacles and guide users along safe paths. The system also helps users know their current location and plan routes to destinations. Tests showed that most users found it helpful and easier to use than a white cane.
